Connecting Inovelli white series to HA

I keep receiving the following error despite everything being within a couple feet of each other

It is strange because Amazon Alexa sees it and says "hey you have a new device to add but cannot pair to it just like Home Assistant

the discovery happens over bluetooth - but the actual pairing requires setting up the thread connection and then having the phone connect to the device via thread.

what's the layout of your network like? any vlans?
