I've not seen this covered, but is the volume control adjustable via automations or voice commands or just the dial?

Curious if there is separate and stateful volume controls for media player vs. assist volume levels.

The media player component of the VPE is exposed to Home Assistant as media_player entity. That way you can control the volume.
