Hello,

I'm planning to migrate HA off of a Raspberry Pi 4 (2 GB RAM) that is connected to Ethernet, a SATA M.2 drive, a Z-Wave antenna and a Zigbee antenna.

I run these add-ons and plan to move a Plex server to my HA hardware.

Glances
ZwaveJS2MQTT
Zigbee2MQTT
MariaDB
Cloudflared
Wireguard

Will this hardware work well for my use case?

Lenovo M710q
i5-7500T 2.7Ghz
8GB RAM
System SSD
Media HDD

Other options would be a Wyse 5070 or RPI5. Would bare metal HAOS or Proxmox be more useful here?

Nothing of what you listed should need a lot of resources. I think this will do fine.

Should be fine. Make sure the cpugpu does transcoding with hardware for the codecs you want to use (like h265)

@hallow sapphire pretty fantastic migration to HAOS on proxmox, thanks again for the suggestion. everything runs great so far. my only issue is WGDashboard doesn't seem able to use DuckDNS addresses like the HA Wireguard add-on
