I recently purchased a Shelly 1PM smart power meter and a Shelly PRO EM-50 energy meter with the intention of monitoring my cooker, air conditioning and bathroom towel rail energy usage on Home Assistant Green. I already have a Shelly smart plug, which is working well. This morning an electrician installed the 2 Shelly devices for me and connected them to the Shelly app, where they are recording data. It was something of a performance connecting them to wifi (which took a couple of hours) but once they appeared on the app both devices were discovered by Home Assistant and I added them to the integrations page.
However, when I try to add the entities to the dashboard they are not listed in the list of entities. When I click on the devices in settings I can see all of the entities, but if I click on any of them it says the entity is unavailable, although I can see the graph of the data on the devices page. The whole reason for getting these things was to be able to monitor the usage of these 3 energy-hungry items on my dashboard and on the energy page. I have tried restarting Home Assistant and deleting and adding them again, but it makes no difference.
Is there anything I can do to sort this out, or have I just wasted nearly £500 (including the cost of the electrician)? Shelly refuse to help me because I bought the devices from Amazon, not from their store.
