Number card that reports last state if state goes `unknown`

As the title says, looking for a number card the reports last state if state goes unknown

the sensor is a temperature sensor.

Make a triggered template sensor - trigger state change of the temperature not_to unknown/unavailable and set it to the new value.
That sensor will have the last valid value of the base sensor
