I don’t need a hub for that?
And it will be fast?
Ye why ?
Faster than some cloud connected shit hub, yes
Which brand is it?
What "it"?
I posted three things
Each of which is a product page from the manufacturer
The first one
That'll be ... Apollo Automation
Hubs:
- Lock you in to a vendor's hardware
- Are often cloud based, so slower, and you're reliant on their cloud service
- Expensive
Yeshahaah
Step #2 is then to connect it, and all of those three will magically appear after you set them up
They all have docs that explain how to set them up and connect them to HA
Does it also work with homekit
and which one would you recommend
The fp2e also does not have a hub.
Who cares? It only has to work with HA, and then you can export absolutely anything to HomeKit from there
I'd recommend the Apollo Automation device
Okey thanks
I got another qeustion do you need a bridge for the Phillips lights to connect
No
You need that, for any Zigbee device
The docs there tell you what you need (a Zigbee coordinator) and how to set it up
Does it also work with containers
But is it easy to install
What it?
ZHA?
The coordinator?
ZHA ... click the buttons in the UI, as explained in the docs
The coordinator - depends on what you buy, but as long as you can follow instructions it's easy
You choose the options you want
If you need guidance on that they have their own Discord where I'm sure they can discuss it in great depth
What means with co2
Ty
CO2, as in Carbon Dioxide
The optional CO2 sensor is very eye opening. Many people do not know the air in their office or bedroom reaches CO2 levels that have an affect on you. From poor sleep at night, drowsiness in the office, and brain fog can all be caused by high CO2. This sensor will let you know if your levels are getting too high and you need to turn on the air circulation or open a window.
They even helpfully tell you about it on the page you're looking at
Do you mean ESPHome?
And if so, have you tried this wonderful modern invention called a search engine 😛
ESPHome is a system to control your ESP8266/ESP32, with a native integration for Home Assistant.
You can find their documentation here, and get help with ESPHome itself here in the #diy-archived channel (#integrations-archived for the Home Assistant side integration with it). They also have their own Discord server too.
So for my room I can buy a appollo?
I mean, the question was pointless, given that it was already answered by my suggesting it many times
Just some confirmation
Ah, because a first confirmation wasn't enough?
Are sticks better?
Clearly, yes
But they are so hard to installing containers
Which usb do you recommend?
Tube or SMLight - see the pin in #zigbee-archived
