believe that you just enable local control for the device using the first link in this doc, then click the integration link in the same doc to start config inside home assistant.
great thanks but this is not working for me at all
It only shows up one device out of 4 of them, and they are on teh compatible list too. Am I best removing them from Govee mobile App to integrate them or should it pick them all up?
is there anything I can do or anything I might of done wrong?
Make sure all you other devices are connected to the wireless and not bluetooth i have this very easily done and easily overseen..
There are all connected to wifi I don't have a Bluetooth setup!
I'm really new to Ha and find a lot of things very misleading, one of them are mqtt and what hub do I need or setup as I have a sonoff to do one thing and a Tuya Multi Mode ZigBee Bluetooth Gateway Hub Wireless Smart Home Appliances Remote Controller Bridge. I do have somthing installed for mqtt but seems to be anther issues I have had 2 years and gave up with it. I could really do with a friend who could come around and help me figure all of this it's not easy.
I also have a Aqara Smart Hub M3 and not sure if this hub will hider me further or help me if I tried to set it up as Im worried it will stop the other automations from working on my medical things that as taken me a long time to get them setup to work with presend and voice on there other E1 hubs as they also use Alexa, so Im not fully knowing what to attempt or try on this setups only to rather retuen all the things from Govee or use a plug onto them to theen get them into Ha but the other issues here is if I have them planted outside in the grass, if one of the plug needs to be reset Im goign to have to then keep digging it back up which is also not a good setup really
I had britness today on one of the Govee lights outside on me returning to home and its not even connected to HA yet and they have issues!
