I'm using a container based installation, have the matter-server running and was able to add some matter devices. The devices were going unavailable after a while with the ip section empty so the ping failed.

Tried to delete and add the matter-server again and now each time I'm getting an error when trying to add a matter device. Also the Thread Network shows empty for some reason. Ipv6 routing is enabled and working. Could it be an issue with mDNS? I'm also getting some unavailable errors in the Cast integration

You did see the notice that Matter is only supported on HAOS ?

I'm not familiar with how exactly the system stores membership to the Matter encryption and such, but especially given it's a container-based installation, I suspect that deleting your Matter server may have lost its connection the existing Matter devices. Have you tried performing a reset on a Matter device to see if it can then join again?
