Do I need the Trust SmartHome receiver?

I have a Trust motion detector which I bought accidentally some time ago. I now have a HA system (using a Raspberry PI). On the packaging of the sensor it says I need a Trust SmartHome receiver. Is there also a way that I can integrate this motion detector directly? What is needed to be able to do that? If possible

I don’t know for sure, but it looks like it uses a 433Hz radio, so it could be controlled by a project very much like the Somfy one I shared.

That said, probably not worth it. Easier to just go with Zigbee or Z-Wave.
