I would appreciate if I could get some simple guidance as to what I should look for to get a simple setup where I can control my garage lights with HA. Should I bother with Zigbee or use something that works through WiFi?
Idea is just to get lights in my garage so I can see when parking at night. Hopefully nothing that breaks my wallet. I just tried some Merkury lights and could not for the life of me get them to work with Tuya, Geeni, SmartLife etc., only Merkury Smart app but that doesn't offer an API or integration with HA so SOL.
