I am looking for a smart plug with an energy meter for ZigBee.
There are a lot of options on AliExpress.
How can I make sure that they are safe and so not burst into flames?

this wont help the zigbee part, but ive been using TAPO for ages, reliable, no booms.... prolly works with zigbee

Pretty sure MOES is just tuya hardware.

I'm using the Ikea INSPELNING plugs and they are working great with ZHA once the firmware is updated. Reasonable price and all the certification etc for confidence they will work safely
