Tbh the cheapest method is just to buy a tuya one and reflash it with tasmota
Fair enough. I have some zigbee ones but for WiFi the go to solution seems to be using the BG sockets from screwfix and bypassing the app

been thinking about making my own one then seeing if people were interested then idd make it open source but dunno yet. Doing all the certification stuff m ight be a bit pricy
Yeah, stuff that gets wired into mains especially is a pain to certify. I'd probably go the "resell tasmota flashed tuya devices" as a simpler solution
