Nabu Casa have directed me here because their support cannot solve me problem with not working.
I have run through all the help resources, with no changes.
At one stage in the past my remote access to HA used to work just fine, then it stopped... I cannot say why or what changed.

Info:

  • in HA Cloud settings, my Nabu Casa Account shows Cloud connection status: Connected.... and shows my correct account expiry details.
  • In HA Cloud settings, my Remote access is enabled, but shows Not connected. Trying to reconnect.... This never changes.
  • I'm running HA in a docker on OMV 7 (Debian), managing it with Portainer.
  • My OMV instance has no issues accessing the internet, obviously being able to update docker containers, etc.

I've done all the usual stuff, resetting cloud data, removing cloud data, rebooting, etc.

I'm at a loss trying to resolve why my HA instance can access Nabu Casa, but the reversed remote access cannot.

I am getting an ssl error and can't login to my account, "too many requests" is the message.

I am getting the same right now. I looks like Auth server is rejecting requests for some reason. Based off the "Too many requests" Error given it makes me wonder if someone has targeted the auth server with possibly a DDOS? However I am unsure as usually hosts will block specific IPs and post requests are being rejected from all IPs from what I can tell.

I just logged a case for this as I hadn't seen this thread first. I rebooted my HA only to find it was unable to reconnect to Nabu Casa. I tried from a broswer but couldn't login either. I went through the password reset process but still no luck.

Having now seen this thread it appears to be a more widespread issue and once resolved it should be working for all of us.

I saw same ... clearly that status is not comprehensive

It coincided with a reboot of HA after installing a Tuya Local update. When I couldn't reconnect I was thinking of backup restoration but then I realised that automations were working so the basic system was OK. Then tried logging in locally and it was OK but Cloud connection was down.

Let's hope they can fix it soon.

Their support is super responsive. The reason for the problem: AWS service interruption.

Just received this ....

What you are describing had been found to be a result of an ongoing AWS service interruption, as our service uses Amazon Web Services:

Description

Cognito Authentication Errors

[06:52 PM PST] We are investigating increased authentication errors in the US-EAST-1 Region

[07:17 PM PST] We can confirm increased error rates for Amazon Cognito in the US-EAST-1 Region. We believe we have isolated the root cause to one of two potential issues. We are actively working in parallel to mitigate the issue, while continuing to verify the root cause. During this time, customers may be experiencing 400 Errors, receiving the error 'TooManyRequestsException'. We will provide an update within 30 minutes, or sooner if we have additional information to share. At this stage, we expect to see signs of recovery within the next 60 minutes.

We apologize for the lack of functionality at the moment, and expect that the issue will be resolved, but at the moment we can only share the information we are finding above. I will respond with more details as they are available.

I'm still having issue getting to my NabuCasa account. I tried resetting my account, and now when I try to connect to Home Assistant Cloud, it just says "Unable to reach the home assistant cloud". Is there a way to know if this is the same issue, or something different?

Unfortunately this is an issue I’ve had for a year, and does not coincide with any particular AWS or Nabu Casa issues.
I get a lot of No response from snitun:

I’m guessing it’s some sort of routing issue.
