Hi all,
I have been looking around online and I am a bit confused regarding the best way to delete some of my entities.

I installed the custom Remote Home Assistant integration (from HACS) to try and bring some of my entities from my other home into my main home's HA. However this brought in wayy to many entiteis and flooded my HA with too much garbage. I want to remove the integration, or at least all the entities that integration brought in, at least for now.

I am confused as the best way to do this. Just delete the integration and all the entities belonging to that integration will automatically delete? Or first manually delete all the entities for that integration and then delete the integration itself?

I have seen some recent confusion online as to some integrations being removed and leaving orphaned entities and I am looking to avoid this.

Looking for any help and guidance. Thank you!

In general integrations should clean up after themselves, but as this is a custom one I have no idea.

But all you can do is to remove the integration and see what (if any) it leaves behind.

Ok thanks. Is it possible it will leave orphaned entities though?

Without looking at the code etc. it's impossible to answer, but it could be that it leaves the entities behind.
