Having a heck of a time integrating my Daikin thermostats. I got an API key from the Daikin One Home app. I found the IP address by scanning my network for the matching MAC address. All I can discern about the model number is "ONETOUCH" and Software Version 3.5.6. Nothing pops up on the internet for how this is or isn't the same as the versions listed on the HA site, and the forums and searching aren't turning anything up that seems relevant to me. I think I'm just confused and perhaps don't have the right info to search, but maybe this is just too new and not supported?

I have a different Daikin thermostat (ONEPLUS with software 3.5.6) and the only thing that worked for me was Daikin Skyport (which i think you need HACS to get)

I'm assuming right now you control with with an app on your phone?

yeah you'll use the creds that you log in via that and it's pretty much done being configured

yeah ha-daikinone seemed like the solution, but i never got it working .. daikin skyport .. simple and easy

i installed hacs, then ha-daikinone, did the set up several times, verified the api key i dont know how many times.. did some more googling, saw Daikin Skyport, installed that added my creds, working

ended up not needing the api key, daikinone just seemed to work with username/password
all good now

just uh
if you have a schedule for AC and a different schedule for Heat .. make sure you really line out those rules for fall and spring when you're switching between both... cuz.. i accidentally left the AC on to 50 degrees last fall
and.. the AC got it down to 50 degrees while i was gone for the day

Hey there. I just had a new heat pump installed with a Onetouch thermostat and I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to integrate this. Seems like the 2 projects overlap quite a bit and neither one is working for me 😦
