#Unifi integration is listed on different devices but does not provide any entity for that device.

My Unifi integration lists a lot of devices (Shelly, ESPHome, Sonos) from my network, but does not add any entities to them. In fact I would like to reduce the devices that Unifi integration lists to my network devices (Switch, WiFi, Modem).
Can I delete the devices / device-integration-link somehow (poaching in the core.x files)?

Are you sure it doesn't add entities?

No, I can just not identify them (might be a nice feature).

#

I think all the diagnostic entities are provided by ESPHome

#

On the entity overview page for the integration I see no entity that belongs to any of the devices in question.

I guess this is a bit of consistency because I believe if you have a unifi switch it will add more entities for that

I think I disabled device tracking in the past so the devices may actually be leftovers.

I believe you can disable adding new devices via the global integration options

would that clean up existing one's?

Nope

Any suggestions to do this?

Editing core files is the only way forthat

And where is this "link" of device to integration maintained?

oh hmm

#

they're merged because they use the same connections

Just noted that I can remove the device from the integration if there are no entities provided by it.

Oh, but it does not work..

Ah, yes because they have the function implemented in init

but it checks if you are allowed to
