Hi, I’m new to the community and I would love help on how I can get full control over my TV that will include a real remote that gives full control including direction keys.
I tried many iterations like: smartthings, SamsungTV Tizen, SamsungTV Smart and everything just seems complicated to me and I got lost with it.
It is currently connected to the SamsungTV iteration. The iteration does not work well. It takes a long time for the TV to respond in the interface to turn it on and off, and besides, there is no way to control it.
It indicates that the Internet connection to the TV is with a network cable.
And I would appreciate your help. I’m really struggling with this. My rationale is that I want the card to have the option to turn it on and off and when they click on the device, a pop-up will open with the full remote.

I have not been able to get any of my Samsung TVs, all before 2020, to work properly... I ended up using the Logitech Harmoney integration to any remote button presses that I wanted to do. Way faster and easier. That said you might want to try an IR bridge device.
