#Zigbee2Mqtt and ZwaveJSUI - Should i use MQTT? Or the Zwave integration?

Not a question of zigbee or zwave - more a question of "Should i use MQTT or not?"
Zigbee2MQTT forces you to use MQTT. But ZwaveJSUI doesn't. It's optional
You shouldn't use MQTT for ZwaveJSUI because it communicates natively over websockets and that's the preferred way. Zigbee2MQTT only communicates over MQTT, so you have to use it for that
MQTT is an additional service and "hop" for communications, so if you can go straight to HA, that's generally better. In practice, it doesn't really matter for functionality or perfomrnace
I'd argue that the discovery of the Z-Wave integration is a bit better than via MQTT
