I was playing with multiprotocol firmware. Then for some time i wasn't using SkyConnect. Now i try to flash it here https://connectzbt1.home-assistant.io/firmware-update/#from-skyconnect and it apparently deprecated or what...
I don't want to use multiprotocol, as it's unstable.
How do i return Zigbee firmware to the dongle?
#How to replace multiprotocol firmware with Zigbee on SkyConnect?

Anyone? Is it temporary thing, bug, or NabuCasa decided to remove that flasher completely? If so, am I stuck with multiprotocol forever?...
Web flasher is not the only option. You can use the Silicon Labs Flasher addon, for one.
Came here to ask this, I think my stick has become unstable with the multiprotocol and have read posts that its not working out like it was planned, i.e. move back to zigbee only? I'd love to read up more if there's a channel or discussion already somewhere
FYI the Home Assistant Add-on: Silicon Labs Flasher Add-on documentation is lite.. and directs the user to Discord
I guess tho for my setup, i am using (one remote install of HA) the Silicon Labs Multiprotocol - EmberZNet EZSP/ASH port to present serial over TCP remote socket to my actual HA instance's Zigbee Home Automation Integration... can I do that without the multiprotocol addon?
Thank you, this worked.
That add-on is flashing Zigbee firmware automatically. Just choose SkyConnect, and start add-on. It will stop after flashing.
I'm also having a hard time trying to change the firmware. I tried the Silicon Labs Flasher, but it keeps saying:
[14:06:38] WARNING: No firmware found for the selected device, assuming firmware is installed.
[14:06:38] INFO: universal-silabs-flasher-up script exited with code 0```
So I'm just stuck with multiprotocol firmware
hey @inner prairie I have the same issue with the addon, trying to update firmware, but I am not on the multi protocol. Have you figurd out why its not detecting it as a usb device?
