From what I can tell, is the orange pi cm5 is a drop in replacement for the raspberry pi cm4? At least technically. Not sure if thete would be driver or compile differences between the two.
If so, any thoughts on how it compares to the raspberry pi cm5? I know it's getting support in version 14.

There is no HAOS image for an Orange Pi CM5.
And hardware compatibility to the Yellow board has not been confirmed.

Ah gotcha, so either wait for a normal CM5, or get a CM4 then.
I'm making the switch to HA and moving my ring hardware to it with Alarmo since Ring upped the price of the monitoring service from $100 to $200. Practically covers the upgrade cost haha.

I woukd stick with the raspberry pi. Supply chain security is very underrated.
