Hi,
In trying to ditch the hue bridge and run everything off HASS, one of the biggest hurdles I came across is the generally high latency of any automation tied to Hue devices (connected via ZHA). When running on the hue bridge natively, any sort of command is pretty much instant; whereas when the devices (e.g. dimmer switches or tap dials) are instead connected via ZHA, there is a considerable, noticeable delay before any button gets executed.
What is the source of this delay and is there any way we could avoid it? I really would love to ditch the Hue bridge but as it stands, things just run way smoother and more reliably when everything is hooked up to it.
