i have a smart plug i want it to turn on af 23:59 but off at 05:00.

Sure! I use the UI for automations, if that was your question(?). So you'll add multiple triggers and give them a specific ID. Then you add a build block of conditions in actions, where you choose one trigger ID per option. Or where is the issue?
