I notice a big difference in terms of margin between cards with the new sections layout versus the classic layout:

See both screenshots. The classic layout where more to my liking in terms of margin. Will this turn normal again? 🙂

Hi @jagged mirage , there is a new option "Dense section placement". I'm also forcing the number of sections to my requirements. Default is 4 i think (3?) . In you case you should select 2.
PS: I also have to admit that i changed my "Theme" a long time ago and still have the option
ha-view-sections-column-gap: 7px
