Are there plans for a Windows version of the Companion app?

whilst not "official" you can look into hass agent

Hass agent works well enough, but an official companion app would be excellent.

install windows subsystem for android and then you can install via amazon app store or just sideload

ah looks like MS is ending support for WSA 😦

Hass agent has been good to me for being able to wake-on-lan and sleep and shutdown my pc. and making sensors like when the last login was, bluetooth and volume state, rebooot, active windows, etc. Traditional stuff like cpu or gpu temp is limited on account of it only getting the first cpu and first gpu. It's not at all a companion app, but it's a very nice way to integrate and interface with your pc via homeassistant

if you just want hardwhere info you can run open hardware monitor and enable remote web server. theres an integration to read stuff in from it

I’m using Hass Agent and it’s nice, but yes, an official app seems to be missing and I’m surprised no one talks about that
