On step 3 of this tutorial I am stuck because there is no section in the companion app section labelled this. All I see in Troubleshooting is logs and remote debugging.
#OpenThread Credentials not appearing

I have used an iPhone to do this same thing and it worked fine on that device
Well it didn't work to commission but the section for credentials showed up at least
You seem to be using the minimal flavor of the app, which doesn't support Thread (as it is syncing to Google Play Services on the phone).
Hey you were right about this by the way, that was a part of the issue! I tried using the Google Play version on my phone and it still didn't work but I have a feeling that is more of a GrapheneOS issue. Luckily I have a second Pixel phone that I keep on standby to be used as a work device and for any purposes that require a less secure mobile OS to be used such as this. After using my other phone with the Google Play Store version the thread pairing worked!
yes; the matter stack that handles provisioning devices is actually located in google play services, so you need a phone with the full version of google play services available, and without additional sandboxing.
Very unfortunate, is there any community work being done on a FOSS solution to this?
