Hi, I would like to ask for a direction in which direction to solve the smart automation of the circulation pump.
The circulation pump (distributes hot water around the house) is "dumb", I have it connected via a Tasmota relay (the HA controls the ON/OFF state).
I currently have the control solved by a control panel in the house, where a button is pressed and the HA starts the pump for 4 minutes and then shuts it off. In that time the hot water gets to the floors.
However, I would like to upgrade this control to a "Smart" level. I'd like some automation that will map the pump run history and trigger it based on that (the current "manual" solution will remain in parallel to this).
E.g.: manually the pump is started at about 6am during the week and at 10am at the weekend. The automation detects this and "delivers" hot water through the pump at approximately these times without manual intervention.
How to go about this? I haven't found much on the internet I was thinking of using the "Presence Simulation" plugin? Or is there a better way?
I don't want to address this with a timeline, as the "way" of using it changes over time/year. In short, to get the automation to adapt to manual triggering
Thank you very much
