#Z-Wave OTA

If the update info hasn't been provided to the Z-Wave JS firmware update service, there's no way to know
So it's on the manufactures to do that?
I checked the Update Service on Github and the latest firmware for the Zooz ZAC36 was indeed present but I didn't get a firmware update notice ?
The ZEN17 2.10.0 firmware was not in the Zooz directory
Then I need some device diagnostics. I've heard that before but no one has ever shared info to reproduce or investigate it
What do you need?
Which addon?
Z-Wave JS UI
Click the device, advanced, export json (I think), driver
Also which controller are you using? And which RF region?
US region , ZAC36 (dyslexic - put 93 here originally)
Doesn't this answer it?
Not for the ZAC36
There are two different revisions of that device
Yeah .. both firmware are in the Zooz folder but I didn't get an update notice
I don't think you can generally upgrade firmware from one hardware version to the next.
That was after I did manual update to 1.24 I didn't try to update to 2.10
Ok
I suspect if you try incompatible firmware it will warn/fail
I didn't try that cuz I didn't want to brick it
like I said. I decided to check Zooz for firmware update and noticed the 1.24 was available and I didn't get a firmware update notice from HA so updated manually ... Auto update notification does not seem to be working (at least for the ZAC36)
You didn't also check in ZUI?
I still don't understand. Which version were you on before updating?
