Well you can get these cheap rotary knobs from Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805836369448.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.67.47e851d6Eb4Aav&algo_pvid=a585f75a-0d3f-467b-b653-072e76d443d1&algo_exp_id=a585f75a-0d3f-467b-b653-072e76d443d1-33&pdp_npi=4%40dis!USD!24.99!10.36!!!180.57!74.90!%40210313e917327571083793340ee5a1!12000035363327858!sea!US!178716936!X&curPageLogUid=5lhQMzT7SQCV&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch|query_from%3A
By themselves they don't really work for dimming though. So you'll need a blueprint. I'm using this one and it works pretty well. https://community.home-assistant.io/t/moes-smart-knob-lights-control/382180?page=4
alright just ordered one, thanks!
I've got https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/ERS-10TZBVK-AA.html and it's ok, not awesome, but ok.
If you can still find https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/TERNCY-SD01.html then those are so much better.
oh yeah i've read that on aliexpress, someone said that as well
but can't seem to find any unfortunately
Never heard of that one. I don't think they were available anymore when I was looking last year.
As for what I suggested, I want to clarify. The blueprint helps a lot, but the dimming is still not that great
But overall it works. If it's your only option, I think it will you'll be fine with it. But it won't be super precise.
One last suggestion is the Flic Twist with the Hub LR(you have to get this Hub I believe). That might give you more precise controls, but they are so much more expensive.
