Basically the title. I saw this thread https://community.home-assistant.io/t/ikea-tretakt-plugs-as-zigbee-routers-for-aqara-sensors/766857 and was wondering if anybody is successfully using this combination. I've got a fair amount of Aqara sensors and am looking to improve stability in the network. Ikea has the sensors for a good price but this thread leads me to believe that there are issues.

Any advice is appreciated.

Ikea TRETAKT plugs as Zigbee routers for Aqara sensors

Hello, Has anybody been successful at routing Aqara (contact) sensors through the new Ikea TRETAKT plugs? I’m using ZHA with a Sonoff ZBDongle-P updated to the latest firmware (20240710) and had the same results with a Conbee II. Some Aqara sensors connect to the coordinator or the Aqara T1 smart relay, but not a single one to the TRETAKT plu...

You have to pair Aqara devices explicitly to the router you want them to use

If people just let them pick they'll effectively pick a random router

I would've expected the one with the highest signal strength but that's not a problem.

I saw in a few community threads that they didn't pair well with ikea plugs.
