IDK if im right here but im trying to install some shelly`s but i only have 2 cables in my light switch and not as needed 4.
idk where the other one go trhough.
In the first image you can see a simple plan on how the current situation is. the red cable (not sure if its L or N ) is behind some walls but idk where.

Can i still use the shelly by using the L or / and the N cables from the power plug?

you could bring stuff up from the socket technically but its not a great plan. and may cause you other issues and possibly be dangerous as the sockets and lights are probably on different circuits. your better off putting the shelly behind the light instead of behind the switch as you will have everything you need there.

but given that you seem to be inexperienced at dealing with mains power. It is my recommendation that you hire an electrician to fit it for you. i mean no offence but you seem to not know how mains works and if you do something wrong the result could be serious injury and/or death.

also note that whilst i assume your colour choice was arbitrary. if your switch really is on a blue cable (this will very by country but in general) then it may be switching a neutral which is incredibly stupid. if this is the case I would recommend a full electrical inspection.

please don't kill yourself trying to do something you don't understand.

the sketch i posted there is in no way right.
It was quick sketch to atleast atlest somewhere the way of the cable
The problem i see with the shelly behind light is that the switch will power it.

Means when the switch is off i cant use the shelly anymore if i understood the shelly right.

The problem is with the electrician is that its a old building and the electricians are already really expensive with the new houses.
I do have some basic knowledge how to connect and measure them right i just dont know how to make the electrical plans right (and the language barrier dont really help with that)

if there is only 1 loop to the switch then there will be perminent live at the light fitting and its just a loop to get a switch input.

like this

you change it to this

with terminal lables

might not be the best diagram in the world but hopefully gets across what i am trying to say

ahh okay that makes sence
but it requires both cables to go into the lamp and not being behind a wall somewhere.

im gonna look into it.
i expected only one cable behind the lamp but i will only know by checking it.

Thanks for the quick sketch this makes the whole thing wayy more understandable on how the electric could work. thank you very much!
I gonna check it out later

good luck and please ensure safe isolation and confirmed dead before touching anything

will do!👌

Well i finally did it

Still only one cable going in there

So it's somewhere behind a wall
