"Something Went Wrong" When attempting to add matter device.

I'm attempting utilize matter in my dockerized version of home assistant but I keep getting an error that something went wrong when attempting to add a device. I'm using a nest hub max as a thread router and I setup the docker container per the instructions in github. Everything is on the same network and I'm not seeing any error output from the matter docker container. I just see the following error output in my home assistant logs.

When adding the device I added the code. I was able to connect to the device, generate credentials, and check network connectivity. When it attempts to connect to home assistant is when I get the error.
