Hello everyone,
I’m looking for ideas for an automation in my Home Assistant setup. We live in a relatively large house (about 400m²) spread across two floors, with a heating system that uses thermostatic radiator valves.
I have a total of 14 thermostatic valves installed, and sometimes we forget to turn them off, which results in unnecessary energy consumption. Given the size of the house and the number of valves, it’s easy to overlook some of them.
I’m searching for a reliable solution to automatically shut off any valves that are left open unintentionally. However, it’s important that the automation avoids false shutdowns (e.g., closing a valve when it actually needs to stay open).
Any ideas or suggestions for creating such an automation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance! 😊
