#Hardware platform recommendation

I've been running HA on a RasPi3 for less than a year. I want to run the Matter integration but that requires a 64 bit platform.
I had been planning to move to HA Green, but that's only 32 bit, so it won't be much of an improvement.
HA Yellow is 64 bit, but the setup seems to be quite a bit more complicated, and from what I've read you still have to buy the compute module separately.

I don't have a ton of smart devices yet. I've been building out slowly as affordable devices that fulfill a need present themselves.

Is the flexibility of Yellow worth the extra work, or should I be looking at a different RasPi model? If so, which, and with what options?

Thanks!

If you don't have cameras, don't bother with the module id say

I'm running happily on the HA blue (which is sold without the blue cover too by odroid) and it was a pretty easy homeassistant os experience

Rpi should work too. Back then my requirement was low energy usage (so sbc basically)

But i see a lot of people use a 2nd hand powerfull thinclient too

Intel N100 or N97 mini PC is my vote, not much more than a Pi5 once you add an NVMe HAT (I would never recommend running off an SD card)

Can get 512 gig storage 16 gig RAM, double the Pi5 max, for the same or less
