Just hit rock-bottom user-acceptance regarding Yeelight ceiling lights. Any recommendations?

So, when our Yeelight ceiling lights stopped reacting to switch input once again my significant other nearly snapped. I now removed all switches (just recently bought zigbee radial switches for couple hundred bucks) and switched back to regular switches… so, I really want to have useable smart light again in the future. Are there any RELIABLE ceiling lights anybody could recommend? The Yeelight (even though they claim to have LAN-Support which I did activate) always react sluggish and often even completely loose connection to HA. So, any recommendations?

My advice, don't do Tuya WiFi unless you like clouds.

I don't plan to do so. I want something thats totally local. Zigbee, WiFi... heard good things bout Wiz lights. Hue are way too expensive in my opinion
