I have the slzb-06 for my zigbee coordinator. It's currently installed in my master bedroom closet because that's where my server rack is that runs home assistant and such.

That being said, my current automation stuff is in my master bedroom so everything has a good connection. One light bulb for my living room lamp is always below 10lqi, but it works every time.

Should I move my coordinator to better to accommodate devices past my living room? Or can I chain plugs and such that act as routers?

Usually wall plug powered devices act as routers. You shouldn't have any problems as long as you have enough routers in your ZigBee mesh. So yes, your plugs (routers) will chain (create a mesh network).

Awesome that's good news. Does a router retain full signal or is there drop off?
