iOS Notifications Delayed when phone is Locked

Hi, my notifications have been delayed since 18.1 - I am currently on 18.1.1.

If my phone is unlocked it takes 1-2 seconds for the notification to come through but if my phone is locked it takes 15-20 seconds.

I have critical and time sensitive notifications on so I am sure its an iOS issue but is this something that can be fixed?

also - I am in Australia where Apple AI is not active yet

seems to be an IOS cause - I guess I have to wait for Apple AI here to enable it - sigh!
