Alright, so!
I have a Leviton Decora DZ15S smart switch installed. I do not know if the floor is to blame for interference or not, but ever since I installed an update to Z-Wave less than a month ago (after several months of missing updates), I've had a spotty connection to the device between the HASSIO box and it. Neither were physically moved, either, and they'd been fine for months.
Now, I do not know what version caused this change (though I'm guessing 0.89?) and the connection is only a little spotty, but nevertheless there's still periodic interference. I do not have the ability to move the box physically at present and there's only two devices in the house.
The connection issue is only periodic, and typically occurs right after a command of any kind is sent. It's not consistent whether a given command will cause an issue, but very frequently the node will be stable, then after a command is sent (especially a switch toggle) it'll take a while to respond and be declared Dead. However, if I manually toggle the switch, the node instantly comes to life again on the UI and refreshes with 100% success rate.
I've since switched to the Z-WaveJS UI to assist in debugging, if it helps. I don't have a second dongle to do Zsniffer. I put this issue in hardware primarily because I suspect that the Decora is still at fault rather than the add-on (I feel like the only reason it continued to work is because of a bug in the version of the add-on installed/an old standard the bug relied on), but if anyone has reason to believe I should instead suspect the add-on itself having a bug, lmk and I will move the thread there/create an issue on GitHub as required.
So, in short, is there anything I should do besides attempting to move the box (which I cannot do on a permanent basis at this time) or am I gonna have to bite the bullet and get the more recent Decora Z-wave switch that's actually certified to work with HomeAssistant? (I cannot get another brand unless it matches the Decora Ivory palette due to outside requirements.)
