I wanted to make sure I was understanding things correctly before I went ahead and purchased. My goal is to complete local url requests to blue iris on triggering of a motion sensor. The local command for this is an http request so should be achievable via a put webhook. Does the zigbee motion sensor have to connect directly to the hub wifi or just be on the same network? I am planning on plugging the hub into the PC running blue iris, but the motion sensor is going to be about 300m away but connected to the same network as the PC with the zigbee hub plugged into it.
Or am I on the wrong track and there is a better way to achieve this?
