Hi, on HA Green here. I've a picture in /media/mypic.jpg that I'd like to use as a background for my dashboard. I thought I'd use 'Local path or web URL', then specify '/media/mypic.jpg', but that seems to be the wrong path. How is it mapped in HA Green?

I'm not sure if /media is one of the directories served by the webserver. The standard advice I believe is to create a /www/ folder in your config directory, and host images from there.

If media is for your media browser I don't think those are exposed to the general dashboard.

Maybe something needs to be added to configuration.yaml. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/media_source/ seems to indicate it's not "automatic".

media/media browser is something separate from what can be used on dashboards

Hm, okay. I wish the documentation was better.

Also, why can you put files in /media (via companion app, SMB, or SSH) when you cannot use them in the GUI? This doesn't make any sense.
