After many years of using Domoticz I wanted to move to HA on my Raspberry Pi 4b. I installed the image (HA OS 13.2) from the Pi Imager (later also via Etcher) on my NVMe SSD and connected it on a USB 3 port on the RPi. The RPi does boot somewhat but gets stuck on the attached "screenshot". When I install the same image on an sd card, HA OS does boot all the way to the terminal. I tried to clone the SD card content to the SSD but that doesn't make the SSD boot at all. The bios of the RPi is up to date and capable of booting from the USB SSD to Raspbian.

What does these messages mean and how to boot HA OS from USB SSD to HA OS?

It's recommended not to use USB boot for HAOS but instead to use HA's data disk feature:

It does mention in that FAQ that not all hardware that works with raspberry pi OS and USB boot works with HAOS and it can be trial and error. I've run a few HAOS systems on Pis using the data disk method and it was great (I replaced the hardware with something that could run more things like Frigate though)
