Hi all, am a little new to HA but have been improving my skills. I have a problem with the energy dashboard showing incorrect Energy usage for Grid Electricity and Gas Import. The Electricity seems to have resolved itself however with a recent HA update.
The Gas usage seems to be way off if you compare with the raw sensor (to clarify, the raw sensor also completely matches my Smart Meter and Glow IHDD), has anyone else seen this behaviour before, and how might I fix it?

Do you have a total gas sensor, not just a (today) one?

Are you sure you've entered the correct meter there for your gas metering? Gas usually gets reported in m3, not kWh. It's not impossible yours reports in kWh, but I've not seen one that does before.

@terse imp I think that may have done the trick, it's now reporting 21.29 vs 28.22 on the smart meter and Glow IHDDs, but there is a delay with gas too from memory, thanks for the tip. I should have spotted that before as my solar and battery figures were totals (and I guess HA does the relevant calculations). @covert plover sadly HA doesn't accept figures in m3 even though the Glow IHDD does provide it.
I have only just changed it (10:30 UTC) so maybe the figures will smooth out over the next day or 2

It should be able to deal with that kind of resetting sensor, but it looked like it was counting the pre-reset figure at midnight as consumption
I try to stick with pure totals anyway

Yeh I did wonder if that might be the case, weirdly I changed the electricity to use the total one too, and now it's not showing the price which is odd
but it does if I go back to the daily sensor
it may need some time to update, or it may be as I am currently exporting from PV
will keep an eye on them both tho, as the gas is working fine now hehe

Yeh it was due to me exporting from PV, now I have the grand total of £0.01 spent in the table lol. I am sure it will correct itself tomorrow
