I have an Aqara P2 contact sensor on my garage door to be able to see the current state, but I have no way to actually control the garage door. I'd like to build out my Thread network, so I wanted to see if there were any Matter-over-Thread options available before just using a Shelly.

i don't need a garage door entity type, just a matter-over-thread relay to actuate the garage door opener.

This is the only relay I know of period that uses matter-- it requires their bridge. https://www.aqara.com/en/dual-relay-module-t2/

yeah, the aqara relay is actually zigbee. not much reason to get their bridge just for that; be better off with a zigbee radio to use with ZHA or Z2M.
