I'd like to be able to use 8 FHD camera's with Frigate and I'm looking for a very cheap computer (2nd hand would be nice) but have no idea what I should be looking at. I think I should be using a coral to offload the CPU to make cheaper. Anyone got an idea what I should be looking at regarding specs (ex storage)? The computer will only (!!!) be doing Frigate, nothing else. HASS is running on a Pi. I currently have 4 camera's but wish to expand.

you won't need a coral if you get something with 6th gen or newer intel that has an iGPU
would a 6th gen i3 be enough for 8 FHD camera's?
for example: HP Z240 Tower Workstation, Ci7-6700K, 16GB, Intel HD 530
also see one with a i3 7100
looks like it https://docs.frigate.video/frigate/hardware#openvino
Cameras
i'm more scared of wasting it on a computer that can't process the 8 camera's, the latency should be easily fixable with coral if needed
Look at beelink...
An N-100 based system with a Coral can probably handle 8 cameras. $189 at Amazon. I only have 2 cams and it loafs along at 10% CPU or bump to an N-300 8vs4 cores and a better/faster GPU for decoding $259 at Amazon
