Issues with scenes killing my PC when editing the scene

I have a sleep scene where I want to turn off my desktop PC, media devices and all of the lights.
It does the job though I still need to do some modifications to the scene, everytime I access the scene editor it automaticly runs the scene and kills everything including my desktop PC = I can't edit my scene.

I have added the scenes to the dashboard I don't need to also run the scene in the editor, it's also intrusive everytime I want to make small changes to the scene I kill or toggle everything in the apartment, not nice.

Any solutions to stop this behaviour? How do I edit the sleep scene?

What do you use to control the PC's power?
If it's an outlet switch brick can you plug the PC in somewhere else while working on the scene?

A brick and I did exactly that but it's still quite intrusive toggling switches back and forth in my apartment everytime I want to edit or create a scene. I was assuming it was a bug but skimming google it seems to be by design. Noticed that a scenes.yaml is present so I guess the solution is not to use the scene editor/UI and instead use yaml (haven't had time to look in it yet)
