ok, is there options that dont need to hand made all the lines and stuff, but instead just use your phone camera? like how alexa app does it?

i actually have no idea. ha-floorplan uses a svg file you have to create yourself and floor3d-card uses sweet home 3d (home planning app) for it. sweethome is really easy so i reccomend you to try it. but there isnt really any option i know about that is fully automated

I'm curious, how does the Alexa App work to create a floorplan? I've never seen that function. Can you provide a link or the steps on how to use it?

I did some research and it's only available for select iOS devices. "Map View is available in the Alexa app for the following compatible iOS devices: iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Pro (4th generation and later)." iPhone 16 like too but the article I read didn't mention it. But I know iPhone 16 has LiDAR. However, no Android Alexa App has it. There are Android phones that have LiDAR but Samsung abandoned it back in 2020 with the Galaxy S21. 😦
