Hi, I'm trying to connect some Athom homekit bulbs to HA, I've done it before, but I'm unsure/having trouble putting the bulbs into pairing mode. They're picked up in the HA discovery page and I enter the HK Bridge pairing code generated by HA but it has trouble connecting and says the bulb needs to be in pairing mode

Original Post here but I'm not sure if it's showing up: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/comments/1glrr3z/unsure_how_to_connect_athom_homekit_bulbs_to_ha/

anyway, just in case it's not, I'll paste the main text body here too:

I have 4 Athom bulbs i bought off aliexpress a while ago. The model is LB01-7W-E27-HK.
They were previously connected to my HA before, but have since been disconnected for a long time. Bulbs work fine, (although one is on a low brightness level and part of the reason I want to get them connected again so I can change this) and they appear in my HA discovery page. However on configuration and trying to connect none of them seem to.

First I was confused as I couldn't find the pairing code as I have no idea where the original packaging went (assumed thrown it out) but then after some digging I think the pairing code should be the pairing code given by the HomeKit Bridge, please correct me if I'm wrong?

So I inputted the HomeKit Bridge pairing code but afterwards I get the message about not being in pairing mode.
How do I get the bulbs in pairing mode? With other ATHOM/ESP bulbs I've just turned off and on the bulbs for around 7 times until the light flashes. However that doesn't seem to be the case for these HomeKit bulbs. Just to note, I've seen tutorials saying I should use my iPhone/iPad to help pair but I don't own either, just a macbook. I was able to pair these bulbs before (their missing entries in my HA dashboard are still there) so I'm not sure why I can't seem to this time. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

If the device is already connected to your network, then you can find the IP address of the bulb on your wireless router management page. Simply open this IP address to get to the bulb management page, where you can perform the following operations. If this method does not work, you can reset the device by power cycling 4 times.

They have released the latest firmware to solve the problem of lost pairing. If your firmware version is lower than 0.8.5, you can click the green "Start OTA" button to upgrade the firmware.

Ok so I don't see a green button but I have this in the console when I connect to the IP after pairing. "Online upgrade" results in a "not found" page. So I guess I will have to try and find the 0.8.5 firmware or above online and use Local upgrade. Is this firmware a Tasmota one?
