Since few releases, home assistant became completely unresponsive on my home iPad. It is crashing and I am having real difficulties to do anything. I tried a start without H.A.C.S., it is not better.
I try to access the companion app logs. It is hard to reach it and when I am on it I don’t see anything particular. I have no issues on other IOS companion apps.
I check my network. The companion app setting is responsive if I stop the wifi (no connection)
Home assistant in safari on the same device does not have any issues.

IOS: 16.7.10
iPad 5th generation

I forgot to say I uninstall and reinstall the app and I cleared the frontend cache.

I suspect that you have a very large dashboard somewhere that's causing it to eat up memory. Do you still have a default dashboard you haven't taken control of?

You mean it would eat memory as well if I do not open it. Interesting...

I deleted the dashboard with all devices. Still not responsive and still crashing. I wonder why I have 3 application mobile for this device. I will delete them and let the companion app recreate one.

hmmm still 😦

Not sure if it is connected. I see this in my Home Assistant core logs:

That looks like a mmWave presence sensor. What kind is it?

limber veldt
#

It is the everything presence sensor

Huh, ok. What it looks like is that it's blasting too many events to HA and possibly flooding the event bus. Can you do a full reboot of whatever is hosting Home Assistant (rPi, VM, whatever) and see if that helps?

I will try. It takes some time. Let's see
