I have some USB devices that I would like to control remotely. For example, I have an IR device thats in another room from my HAOS device. I'd like to be able to control that IR device (RM4 pro) from HAOS. I dont mind purchasing hardware but I also have some raspberry pi's available. I was wondering if there was some way to use the Raspberry PI as a kind of network based usb hub.. or, a way to allow the raspberry pi to receive commands that can then trigger the IR blaster.

Any suggestions?

You can just use SSH to send a command to your pi. There's also zigbee based IR blasters with battery.
