Hello guys, I'm a new user on Home Assistant and i've not so much capacities in domotic's domain. I want to control my gas heating with Home Assistant and i need some help to know what kind of hardware i need to buy to start this. Can you give me some recommendation / help please ?

So, gas boiler control is critical operation/process

So I would use arduino for essential opperations, control, main logic loop. It would have all sensors and servos/switches connected to it.

Would make ir simple, main logic control loop

Then, I would add integration via MQTT to share the status and accept incoming settings/parameters from home assistant(where another logic/automation would take place using input from whole house)

So, gas boiler should operate without home assistan direct control. In case of issues with network, electricity outage. Boiler could have backup power suply

regarding actual hardware it depends what you want to control on that boiler

i just want to ON/OFF my boiler when i'm not at home and follow the temperature of my house

at home i want a screen where i can ON/OFF it too
