I have this KVM - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CP1TR6XX?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_title

Which has a button that connects to it via a3.5mm jack. I bought a Broadlink RM4 Pro and this emitter/receiver device along with an aux Y splitter to put into the KVM so I can use the button as well as have the IR Receiver in place so that the Broadlink can send the command to switch between the devices monitors.
Ir receiver/emitter - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0C89Z18S3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
Y splitter - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B01CEZJHKC

So far, I have been unsuccessful in trying to figure out what the code is that I need to use to get the switch to happen. Could somebody help me?

Here is a similar device from the same company which has a remote and IR receiver, too much for my needs though- I don't know how to get in contact with the company to learn the IR codes https://www.amazon.com.au/ATLAHET-Displayport-Computers-Monitors-Accessories/dp/B0DKH46467

You can use the remote.learn_command action in HA with the BroadLink. Then you point the existing remote at the BroadLink and push the button you want it to learn and it stores the code for you.
